ACES Preview LUTs for Substance Painter

These are two LUTs for previewing ACES ODTs Rec. 709 and sRGB in Substance Painter's material display. The Premium tier also includes an open Houdini Digital Asset to create LUTs for these and other ODTs that you might need -- Rec. 2020, DCI-P3, your custom ones, etc.

These LUTs rely on the Reinhard tonemapping used in Painter. They give good color accuracy, and good handling of highlights, when compared against pre-rendered images. You can find such a comparison on this page's header.

This product comes in two tiers:

• Free: Includes the LUTs for Rec. 709 and sRGB ODTs.
• Premium: Includes the same LUTs as Free, plus the open Houdini Digital Asset used to create them.

The HDA has been created in Houdini Indie and tested on version 17.5.391. The LUTs have been tested in Substance Painter version 2019.2.3.
